I have an Acer Aspire 5315 80gb hard drive, 1gb ram Vista bought from Comet for 拢329. I added another 1gb ram to it for 拢20 and it works fantastically. Runs games great too. My dad has a Toshiba la... Vaio if you prefer Windows, Apple if you're into the whole Mac spiel. Toshiba and HP are more lower-end, but they can deliver what you're looking for in a solid PC. Vaio takes the cak... I got a refurbished dell one for 拢250 Its as good as new but it was much cheaper Look online for sites selling refurbished laptops ...Laptops really don't come out with Windows XP anymore unless they use legacy hardware so I think you're going to have some difficulty finding a laptop that could play games AND comes with... the keyboard buttons whether on a desktop or a laptop are fairly easy to snap off or back in. I do it all the time to clean the muck that gets trapped in between the keys. just push it back in ...These are the best apps: INTERNET: Firefox, the best browser for mac and windows..simply awesome. After that i recomend Wyzo, it has a built in torrent manager and is basically the same as firefox... Glossy and matte. Glossy is more shinier and the colors look more beautiful but the screen gets dirty. Matte is just flat LCD and no shinyness and the colors look just about the same. I'd get ... go to the Carphone warehouse, they were doing some form of Broadband offer that gave a free laptop, by Brother got one! ... |
