Is there any way I can get iMovie onto a Windows laptop? |
I really want it. You can buy an apple laptop and dual-boot to have it but actually having it on Windows i'm quite sure is impossible. Well, you couldn't legally get it on to a non-Apple computer, but you could own an Apple computer and dual boot between Windows and OS X, and therefore have access to iMovie. if it has an intel chipset, you could install mac OS install Mac OS. this site will give you a sony vaio laptop just for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want/need a laptop (like me). Like others have said, either buy a Mac and dual boot, or buy a more advanced Windows editing program, like Ulead VideoStudio, Adobe Premiere Elements, or Sony Vegas Movie Studio. Ulead VideoStudio is the easiest (similar in some respects to iMovie) but Sony Vegas or Premiere Elements have a lot more advanced capabilities. Download a demo copy of each of these programs and see which one you prefer. |
