What happened to my toshiba labtop satellite A105?

hey guys something happened to my toshiba labtop A105 when i start this labtop..this page shows up saying

If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was automatically shut down to protect your files and folders, choose Last Known Good Configuration to revert to the most recent settings that worked.

If a previous startup attempt was interrupted due to a power failure or becuase the power or reset button was pressed, or if you aren't sure what caused the problem, choose Start Windows Normally.

Use the up and down arrows keys to move the highlight to your choise.

everytime i press 1 of these options...it restarts to this page.

Your OS or Hard Drive my be corrupt. If you have any important files that you want to keep you will want to look for a place that will do Data Back-Ups. After you get any information that is important to you backed up you will want to take the recovery discs that came with the laptop and follow the directions.

1) Turn on the laptop
2) Insert the first disc
3) Turn off the laptop and then turn it back on

At that point you should be directed to the system recovery screen. Follow the directions from there and you should be good to go.

######IMPORTANT######

DO NOT DO THE RECOVERY UNLESS THERE IS NOTHING ON YOUR COMPUTER THAT YOU WANT TO SAVE!!!

System recoveries will completely wipe your computer's Hard Drive and you will lose everything you had on it.

There is a bad system file and you have to reinstall the OS. Sorry but, it the only way.

insert the reboot cd that came with it. the same thing happened to my laptop and that worked for me.
