Why do people use YA when they can just google the question?

Not all information is available on Google all the time.

When you are in doubt, you either inquire to the librarian or your pal. Not go searching the racks first down at a library. Isn't it?

Real people makes more sense. One catch though - what if you shouted and no one answered? Go back to the racks/google.

My believe is that people like to ask questions to actual people, that way, they can get extra tips of how to or what to do in certain situations. Not just a recorded answer you get on google etc.

Uh, its nice to see what fellow humans think of certain topics not some "professional" or whatever on a site, and not all sites are right some are false answers, whereas this is real life day people caring about giving the best they can (most people) and wanting to actually help others coz they can.

because you can see what other people think, and know that it is coming from another person's hands typing it, not just the computer giving you all of these bazzare links to things that don't say a WORD about what you asked! :D

I have found Google's search results to be very poor quality... it's a lot more fruitful to use Yahoo searches. And anyway, YA is better for personal questions.
