How do you take unwanted info. off of google.? If it is your own website, you change the information on your website and the next time that Google crawls your web site, the information would go away. google displays information that it gathers from other websites. You'd need to get rid of the source. If it's something from your site, take it off your site. Of course, there are many things that are available as public records. If if is iGoogle, when you hover over the border of something ou see a little x. Click on it. Otherwise, I don't believe you can, the only thing I think you can do is change the SafeSearch setting, which you can do by clicking on "Preferences" and look to see "SafeSearch Options". If you are wondering why you can't change anything, my best guess is that Google is mostly non preference- they don't filter anything when you do a search. |
