Is Google a Viris?

My brother-in-law believes and argues with everyone that Google is a virus, and I would like to put an end to this argument. Thank you for any answers i receive.

Google isn't a virus. I've heard people argue that their 3rd party cookies are spyware, but nothing they produce could be called a virus. If Google infected people's computers, nobody would go to their pages. The company would go down the toilet. I like the company. I use G-mail, ad-words, and google analytics. The documents feature ot the google account is cool too. I have office software on any internet connected computer, and it's all free,

Google is primarily a search engine...the most used one in the world. It works like Yahoo does when you search for things.

No, Google is not a virus. There are some programs associated with Google that can make internet run REALLY slowly, (Google Toolbar) but no programs that can hurt your computer.

google searches other site for words u entered, those sites Can have viruses, but once they get reported they are removed from the google results.

No. its a search website. Ur brother seems infected from a virus. Ask him why does he thinks so. He must have misspelt it. There are many fake websites which resemble it like gooogle.com which are infected by virus or i should say were meant to spread virus
