Even though Microsoft has money and talents why they can't develop a search engine of the quality of GOOGLE?

Microsoft is extremely talented.. and I'm sure they do have the money and talents to create a great search engine.
But I don't think thats Microsoft's focus.
They're more focused on software, networking systems, rather than web interfaces/search engines.

The website database of Microsoft Live Search is nothing compared to immense website database of Google. Google also supports many advanced search selections. Google also automatically corrects spelling error in web search for you. Google has many other services that Microsoft Live doesn't have like Google Earth, Google Desktop Search... But you know, we are in Yahoo!Answers. Yahoo!Search Engine, anyway, is quite OK. Microsoft's focus is operating system (like Vista and XP) , not on search engine.

They know google is the best and will keep getting better so Microsoft is spending their time and money to try and fix windows Vista :P atleast i hope so because thats what i'm stuck with right now.

google also has talent and money but they are not intrested in making OS and aosftwares
Microsoft is a software company they are utilising there tallent for OS and softwares rather than search engines
It's there job ,let them do, and i think they are doing at there best
and yahoo's motto is for communication ,there is no other site that can compare yahoo ...

they cant because it is a disk and they cant upload a seach engine onto everybodys computers
