How often do yahoo & google scan for new tags & key words? Can i trigger a fresh scan?

You can call Googlebot as often as you like using Google Sitemaps.

First, subscribe to Google's webmaster tools.

Download the Sitemap Generator.

Run this tool Add your site URL - this will spider your site and create an XML index of pages for Google to hit.

Upload the XML file to the root of your website. Then, point your Google Sitemaps account to the website.

Google will check for the file. And, it will crawl the URL with the frequency you choose.

i think they do it every 12 at nite, it takes roughly 12-1 for google and i think windows live and yahoo does the same thing aswell, ths ervers collect all the tags which are new everyday and it updates by putting all the tags at once onto google, thanks

and they make money by searches (1p a search)
