How to erase/clear the search history of GOOGLE?

i have searched many things through google. the history opens as we enter any word so all details get cleared. i want not to show others which i search. how to delete the search history.

Go to "Tools"/"Internet Options" and select Delete in the General Tab. Select......Delete Files, Delete History and Delete Forms then close. "Do Not" Delete Cookies/Passwords.
Finally....refresh your page.

I won't ask what you were looking up but in your internet options there should be a way to clear lists. I'm not sure as its been awhile since I've used Windows XP or its predecessors.

This is a browser function. If you are using Firefox (if not, why not...?) then go to the >Tools > Clear Private Data option.

It's really easy. On Internet Explorer it's harder to find. Go to >Tools > Internet options and you'll need to click on several buttons to clear the lot, but the one you really want is the Clear History button. Clear out the rest while you're there; it will make your computer run marginally better.

in firefox:

Tools - options - privacy - clear now (under private data section)

in iexplorer:
tools - internet options - delete (under the browsing history section)

open Internet Explorer.
Tools>Internet Options...den
Content>Auto Complete...den
uncheck 'web address' and 'forms' and den click 'clear forms' and 'clear passwords'
den again check 'web address' and 'forms' and OK

to erase the search history, open the "google" website and click "web history, which should be on the top Right hand corner of the page.( you'll need to sign in and all that). On the left side of the screen, you would see a menu, identify the "remove items" click on it, then click on "clear entire web history" which should appear on the next page. From there it would ask to 'pause' the web history. from that moment, google wont keep tabs on the pages you visit.
