How does the google adsense works and how i can earn with it?

How does the google adsense works and how i can earn with it?

WHAT IS IT EXACTLY?

Adsense is a way to monetize and earn money from your site by putting Google ads from their advertising network Adwords. It has been around since June 2003 and Adsense has allowed many website owners to earn from their sites. I highly recommend going through the Adsense Quick Tour to learn more about the program http://www.google.com/services/adsense_t...

HOW DOES IT WORK

You apply and once you get approved, you can put in the Adsense code in your site. Here are the instructions on how to add Adsense codes on your site https://www.google.com/adsense/support/b...

You earn through various ways:

1. Pay per click - this is the common way to earn which is you earn every time a visitor clicks on your ads
2. Pay per impression - an advertiser can specifically target your site and show ads where you earn via cost per 1,000 impression (e.g. you earn every time someone sees your ad, even though they don't click on it)
3. Referral - you can also earn if you refer a visitor to use Adsense or Adwords, download the Google toolbar, etc.

WHAT PERSONAL INFO DO I HAVE TO GIVE?

In the application form https://www.google.com/adsense/g-app-sin... you will give

- your name
- your address
- if your country qualifies for electronic fund transfer and you wish to be paid by EFT, your bank details
- your SSN or tax account number if you are in the US as Google reports Adsense income to the IRS

IS IT WORTH IT AND HOW MUCH MONEY PER MONTH DOES IT BRING IN?

Some sites do very well with Adsense (even in the millions of dollars a year) while many more sites do extremely poorly with the program (can't even earn $10 a month). One of the misconception people have about Adsense is they simply slap it in their websites and it will automatically earn them big money -- which is not true as evidenced by the many disgruntled webmasters

Your income will depend on:

- the topic of your site (if you have high paying keywords you stand to earn more)
- responsiveness of users to ad (are visitors coming to your site with blinders in their eye or do they look at the ads as additional complementary resource)
- traffic (you earn more with more traffic, even if you have low paying keywords or other metrics)
- how you implement the ads on your site (some positions and colors work better than others)

I suggest you join the program (you've got nothing to lose as it is free) and see how your site will do with it. I've been with Adsense since June 2003 and it's been a GREAT income generating program for us. So for me, Adsense is definitely worth it

You put HTML code on your website, which makes a banner ad. It pulls keywords out of the site to generate relevant ads.

When someone clicks that ad you make money. Usually somewhere between 1 and 10 cents, however some keywords pay a lot. There are whole websites dedicated to telling which keywords get the highest paying ads. Just search for them.

Once you get $50 in clicks, Google sends you a check.

As ragedude had pointed out, Adsense pays you for every click you get. Some keywords that have more worth allow you more cents per click - it eventually adds up if you constantly promote your site. I think you need $100 for payout by check... also make sure you read their guidelines - because once Google bans you, you CANNOT join up again. The ban practically lasts forever. Make sure you never click your own ads, and follow the rest of their rules.

You place a little code on your website, which tells Google to go look at your website. Google will actually figure out what your site's topc is by reading your pages, and then they will place ads that are relevant to the content on your sit.

Let鈥檚 say your site is about fly fishing. Google would place small ads wherever you like that may offer fly fishing lessons, or an online store to buy fishing lures

Read this story about a guy with no internet experience who's makign over $15,000 a month from building websites that have adsense ads: http://easymlmincome.blogspot.com/2008/0...

When people visit your site they will click the ads becuase it is so relevant and it blends right in with your site. You get paid every time someon clicks. It depends on the ad, but you can get paid pennies per a click, or I've had some as much as $3 from one click.

Does that help?

Google Adsense is the best advertising instrument used over internet now. But coping up with the TOS of Google Adsense is very tough. We should be very carefull while driving up with google Adsense. Many got their accounts banned for no reason. But there are ways of getting new Google Adsense accounts by taking the appropriate measures before it.
