Why do people insist on asking questions that can easily be answered using Google?

Perhaps they like the feeling of interaction it gives them.

Perhaps the magnitude of information served up by a GOOG search confuses some.

Perhaps they feel they can trust the direct response they will receive.

Perhaps they like spending 5 points.

Perhaps it gives us the chance of an easy 10 points.

Got to say I like the 10 points.

They're either lazy or want attention.

Had you used the "Search for Questions" here you would have fun the answer to your question without asking. But like most people, you find the asking is most of the fun. This is a social network as much as a Q&A network.

They trust unknown people more than themselves?
