I can't uninstall google toolbar!?

I have got Firefox, but I can't uninstall the Google tool bar. I have tried everything I know of to uninstall it, but I haven't had any luck. If you know any other ways, please tell me! Cheers!

If its in firefox go to tools > add ons > extensions and uninstall it from there

remove firefox as well ?

go tools internet options and uncheck the google option

Click on control panel, then programs;
then it should say install or uninstall programs, then you click
on the program you want to uninstall.

This is how ours works.

if the control panel remove programs doesn't work, then go to my computer > hard drive > program files > google > toolbar. just delete the toolbar folder, it will automatically uninstall itself.

I tried all of these suggestions, plus rebooting in addition to just logging off Firefox, and none worked . . . except the one I tried last because it didn't make any sense to me. And BINGO! Toolbar was gone. Many thanks, zyxz0rys! As he/she says, go into Internet Explorer (that's the part that didn't make sense to me), go to internet options, and change the default search engine to something other than Google. Then go through the delete procedure. I used the Firefox Tools/Add Ons/Delete Google ToolBar. BTW, this path also gives you the ability to disable the Toolbar, which at least takes it off your screen. Which was my best alternative until I tried zyxz0rys's suggestion.
