can u even do that? Dear misfit22;
Everyone in here has told you about clearing search traces existing onyour computer and the answers are appropriate,
But I want to tell you something else;
As far as I know, since Google has started its work, it has been saving the items that people searched.
If you have a Google account (like Gmail) and you're signed in, you can access your search history that has been stored in Google data base, although it could be a useful feature, but some people may not be happy of having their searches stored. In this case you can go to Google, search for the keyword " Google Web History" and hit the first link, and there you can see all the searches that you have done so far! At the lower left side there is an option "remove items" . By using it you can remove anything that you desire. however, as I mentioned before, a copy of your searches are kept in google, but they are private and Google will not reveal them, they just keep those tracks for their own technical purposes and nobody can access or delete them.
Therefore, go ahead and clear the history of your web browser (as other people said), then sign into Google and delete whatever you want (as I said), and then there will be nothing to be worry about.
By the way, if you don't have any Google account, there is nothing accessible for you to delete.
Anyway, whether you have an account or not, whether you're signed in or not, Google will keep a copy the searched item for its own, as I told you, and that is not a matter of concern, because only the Google guys can access them.
Good luck! scroll down and hit the delete key on what u want deleted Google doesn't save your searches. *

select pause history If you have all those histories, then I think you need to clean your computer.
Download CCleaner, install then run cleaner. This will delete all the temporary files which should be deleted. Which will also delete all histories ect.
I do it all the time after I close my browser, so my computer stays clean and fast.
CCleaner download is provided in the source. you could go into your tool settings and clear your whole history, but what were you searching that cant be seen. you can just shut down ur computer and when you turn it back on the history will be gone.
