Virus by postmaster in my inbox in gmail?

I received a mail from post master that a mail sent by me to someone had virus in it and so it blocked it. But the funny thing is that I never sent any message to that id and don't know anything. Here is how it looks like.

I never sent that message as don't know that "anand", and I receive a mail saying my message contains a virus. I think I should back up all my data in gmail as I don't know when its gonna get deleted on its own (ZDnet). Is it a virus that sent this message to me, or some has hacked into my mailbox sent some malicious script to do a lot hacking or conquer the world or something like that. can it be?

Sounds like a Trogen. Most trogens, when executed, will go directly to your address book and send them selves to every address that is contained in the address book. Run a good anti virus program. That should find and remove the problem. If you don't already have anti virus software installed, download, install, upgrade and run one of the following. (Both are free).

It's possible that someone spoofed an email to look like it came from your address, also to be safe I do recommend running a virus scan.

Lolz dude there are thousands of ways thru which people can send messages using other peoples id so they often send mails from the name of postmaster. only accept those mails of postmaster which show u if ur message failed to be sent.

Like one of the other answers said people are finding ways to send e-mails and making it look like it was sent from other people anyway i reccomend that you do a virus scan on your computer if you don't have anti-virus software then you should get AVG it's brilliant you update it every day so you're ALWAYS up to date on viruses and the best part is that it's free, you can download it if you go to google and type in "download AVG anti-virus free edition" without the quotes and download it there.
