Do anybody on this use google?

alot of these questions seem to easily be looked up on google

I use metasearches. Google is a good source, but it is only one of a number of sources. The world is lazy, and will lose a good variety of good alternative search methods, because they can only think google. So sad.

google fails to access a very large portion of internet, it's like saying you'll only ever go shopping in Tesco because it has all you need.

I agree with you. I use google. I am here to answer questions and bring up my points.

Of course when I have real questions such as stuff with generating functions in discrete mathematics, then I come here to ask.

i do google many questions and many answers..i google questions to provide the best answer and i google answers to make sure they are right

I generally answer from my knowledge and experience.
I do use Google to check or corroborate my answers, or to find links to list for the asker to explore, or to make minor changes before submitting. I will use Google to find the PDF file of a user's manual or the FAQ of a manufacturer's website, to help someone with a technical question on some specific model of something (I think just telling someone "RTFM" is rude). I would never use Google to answer questions for which I have absolutely no clue as to how to answer, just to build points. That would be cheating!
