Trouble with Google Street View?

Whenever I click to view a neighborhood, all I see is a big black screen. There were no pop-ups or anything telling me I need to install something. Now when I click it, I get a big white screen. Are there certain video requirements I must have to view?

It must be a bug in Google Maps. Lots of people have been complaining about it too. I think they'll fix it sometime later.

I also suggest you try taking a look at Live Maps. Live Maps has way better 3D features than Gmaps. 3D is the future of viewing maps, and Live Maps has a good number of 3D cities (mainly downtown areas/landmarks) rendered in real color 3D.

There's also Birds-eye-view, and it's "like" Street View, but it's more of a view from a helicopter at 45 degree angle, and you can pretty much see high-res pictures of the buildings and the area. That's really neat too.

And Live Maps is more streamlined, with a cooler looking UI. You got to give it a try : http://maps.live.com/

Until then, wait for Gmaps to fix their bug.
