Google Redirecting!?

Whenever I try to go to the Google homepage, it keeps redirecting me to... here: http://sitesure.com/?lang=en&country=us&...

All I want to do is check my mail. Is anyone else having the same problem? How do I keep it from doing this, and why is it doing it?

P.S. I use iGoogle as my Google homepage, if it helps.

Found off another board and it worked like a charm.

Do you have the widget "This Day in History"? If so, it's been
hijacked and you need to remove it. Hit the back arrow on your
browser while holding down the ESC key to get back to your homepage
without allowing it to redirect to the Sitesure page. While
continuing to hold down the ESC key, remove the Day in History widget.
Once that is done your page should load normally.

I have an igoogle page too, no problems. Double check that you are going to this link: http://www.google.com/ig

If you're going to the right place I have no idea what the problem could be.

You are right! I went on my computer this morning and have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I did what you said and removed the "Day in History" thing and now it's back to normal. THANK YOU!!!!!

It appears that if you have a Google Ad-On called "This day in history" is a rouge Add-On and is hijacking browsers to the suresite.com site.

If you cannot be quite on the draw when you launch your iGoogle, when you launch into your iGoogle hit the RED X STOP BUTTON. locate this day in history ad-on and DELETE! If you cannot get it this way, see instructions below.

Download Spybot Search and Destory, (see link below) and run it. I would advise your anti virus is up to date, if this does not resolve your issue visit link 2 below.
