Google Accelerator... What's the point?

I just deleted it. My internet goes MUCH faster without the thing. If you want fast internet use Firefox and install the add on Fasterfox. Also, depending on the sites you go to, get Ad Blocker.

And don't install all that other unnecessary stuff. I finally figured the reason why my computer was slow. It's still not as fast as my laptop though. I'm trying to figure out which programs are worth keeping and what ones are worth deleting...

Haha, I'm just amazed as to how much faster my computer goes now. Wow. Am I the only one that had Google Accelerator actually slow down my internet? 0_o

I don't know either. I had the same problem with my comp, and once I deleted it, it went MUCH faster. Maybe it only works for certain computers, with certain browsers? I'm just glad this happened to someone too, and it wasn't just my computer! And, I've never tried Fasterfox, I'm gonna have to check it out. Thanks.
