My hompage hijacked? |
When I try to get to my homepage it goes to igoogle for about two seconds and is automatically rerouted to the site listed below. I have gone into my tools to change it but it doesnt work. I can change my homepage to any OTHER page except my igoogle page. What is UP??? http://sitesure.com/?lang=en&country=us&... It sounds like you've got a nasty BHO - this stands for Browser Helper Object. Older versions of Internet Explorer are particularly vulnerable to them, and they're commonly packaged with other software such as Kazaa. It seems like that the Widget 'The Day In History' has been hijacked. I think you have also added this like me. Just remove the Widget and hopefully iGoogle will load normally. It Worked for me. How do you remove the widget? thanks Remove "this day in history" widget by clicking on the "X" it the top right corner of the widget. This solved the sitesure.com problem for me as well. |
