How come Google Analytics isn't working with GeoCities? (no Yahoo-Google hate each other garbage please)?

I've installed the correct New Tracking Code (ga.js) on every page, with the correct account info and everything. It still tells me that Google can't find the code on my top page.

I agree with you... I have a feeling that might be the issue.. Yahoo! put this below my HTML:

I have a GeoCities web site too.

I have the "free" version and GeoCities inserts its ads, etc. I have noticed that the source code for my web site pages has actually been changed by GeoCities (click on View-Source when you are viewing your web site).

I am wondering if that is conflicting with your Google Analytics Tracking Code . . . . etc ???

Try to put quotation marks ( " " ) on your searches. If you can't find the keyword because the article's too long, try ctrl+F then search for the right keywords or phrases.
