What exactly is the whole story about google saying no to giving the government the internet history of what people look up online? i love google theyre the only ones who didnt give in I think it had to with the terrorist craze last year when the government wanted to tap phones line and all of that. Mainly to monitor any potential terrorist activity. When Uncle Sam approached Google, to scan and monitor their search records for whatever terrorists would search for, Goggle declined.
Google has a record of everything that was searched. But I'm not sure they know who searched for what unless they have a way of pinpointing people's location by their IP Address. I'm sure someone knows for sure who may answer this question. |
