Gmail: How do I add a new mailbox for mail from a different listserv?

I am already signed up with Google and Gmail to receive mail from one listserv that has hundreds of items per month.

I want to add a new mailbox (or whatever it's called) for a new listserv in which I only receive less than 40 items of mail per month. I want the new mailbox because I will eventually automatically forward that new mail to another mail service and I don't want to forward the first listserv mail because there is so much of it.

So how can I add a new mailbox for mail from the new service?

simply create a new gmail account and register that account on the list serv. gmail registration page below.
