In google search what does the ter " I AM FEELING LUCKY" connote?

I've wondered that and never tried it. I pretty much assumed it was like the first respondant said.

Type in your search words, and hopefully the exact website you want will pop up!

You type in something into the search section and click "I'm feeling lucky" and it will load you to the first searched result in google.

then it opens THE BEST MATCH WITH THE KEY WORD of your search.

As always the first result will not be the best result of the query, i suggest u not to use this button but have ur query with usual search button because that will show u a list of related pages from which u can select the most appropriate result.
