Why does Gmail always say Beta under it?

Isn't it time to remove the beta?

always improving something, thats why google is the brand to beat, when it comes to revenues...theyre the top search engine around, yahoos right up there though

new features, more customer satisfaction...or who knows they could be lazy as hell and not want to fix their site

google is gay, but it's better than yahoo

A software application of any kind is only out of Beta when the developers decide so.

It will stay like that for about a year. The same thing with MSN when it upgraded and asked for users to switch over to beta. After just over a year and they got all the bugs out they released it to everyone.
