How does google make money, after all they are just a search engine right? |
Well now I guess that they have youtube they can make some more money but how did they make money without youtube? Mostly through advertising, but they are far from "just a search engine", they provide email services, an online office suite, website statistic services, and a host of other applications - most of which are available in private ad-free versions for companies willing to pay. They make their money off of the advertisments when you do a search for items. when you search there is always a set of results on the side, they pay to be there No, they are not JUST a search engine. And some companies pay big money to be at the top of the hit list when you search for something. all the ads you see on every page They make money from advertisers on their site.
