Their satellite software is so dated in most areas...it's not spying, it's a Hybrid Satellite view that is still images, not interactive or 3D. Most of what you see is compiled over many months, in some cases years...

It doesnt make me all to uncomfortable unless i see something im sure the person doing it didnt want google earth to put online

They can't see into my house so no Iam not uncomfortable. Now if they get into my windows and watch me I just have to put clothes on.

kid whos asking for a link its google maps and the map is just a pic and google earth is just pictures... its not like they can zoom in on u in the shower... maybe the goverment can....

i've done it before i like looking up addresses and such and no it doesnt bother me sometimes i even look up my own house!!! its fun to look around the neighborhood and turn in different directions

No. I checked the site and the picture they had of my house wasn't current. In any case if someone is that interested as to where you live and have your address, they can just drive over at anytime. These are not realtime pics so I have no issues.

ooo, it gives me the creeps. also type in ur home phone number, and google will give you the residents, your address, directions, and offer you to see it on the satellite. see, this is why im scared.

I've done that, and I think it's really NEAT ... I can actually go online and see the place where my husband is working, with only a minute or two 'lag' ... and he can do the same to me. It makes it very easy to 'keep an eye on each other' so that neither of us gets hurt ... I guess it doesn't make me uncomfortable, because I don't do anything to feel uncomfortable about doing, and neither does he.

No, it doesn't make me uncomfortable, and it shouldn't make other people uncomfortable. Hey, your neighbor can see a satelite picture of your house, guess what - you can go onto google and look at the image of their home.

When people are driving by your house, and they glance at your property, does that make you uncomfortable?

I found it fascinating to see my home and how it related to my neighbourhood. I enjoyed it. No point in being uncomfortable with the facts.
