Can something be deleted off of Google search?? |
I noticed a family members name on a Google search, his birthday listed in a church bulletin. It was on the Google search for 2 days, now it is gone. The date was Jan 2008, so very recent. Can he delete this by contacting Google? Thanks! No. It's a web page which is searched by a search engine. Google has "crawlers" which index pages. if you are worried about it then it needs to be deleted off of that website, but even then google does not update its search cache Immediately, and even then there will be records of it in googles search history or w/e its called over there for a while Yes, highlight the specific search you want to delete and just hit delete. |
