I often see my pc connecting to "google analytics" when i browsing the web? |
whats that all about, are they profiling me?, what about my privacy? Google Analytics (formerly called "Urchin") is a free program that helps site owners keep track of their traffic. The site owner has to add a few lines of script to their pages in order for Google Analytics to track things, and that's what you're seeing when you browse: your browser requests a page, and within that page is the call to Google's server. they cant do such thing violating your privacy . without your permeation. |

it locates you via your router so if your using your neighbors internet it would locate his house instead of yours and so forth. hope that helps you out ...Use dogpile.com and try to be more specific.. ...I think your missing some meta tags such as name="description" name="keywords" and some other ones. ...nofollow just means the search engine wont link to that page from the page with the nofollow tags and add to the inbound links for that page. ...would that be a water pitcher or a baseball pitcher? ...But who owns Ask? ...talk to your network administrator/IT Specialist person at work (i'm one of them) you may not be able to remove it by yourself.
