Why can't I see images on Flickr.com? Most come up as red X's.?

It's frustrating that I can view 95% of the pictures in my friend's album. Is it a problem with the website or possibly my computer?

that's most likely because of slow internet speed. when people choose their pictures to be non-public you don;t see them at all, in your case you can open the pictures but they won't load.

I'm just guessing here, but sometimes people will set up their photos so that the general public can't view them. That is probably what puts the "X" in the pictures on Flickr. You should e-mail your friend and ask him if he may have set those photos for "Private", and if so, if he could switch them to "Public".
