Flickr question...?

How can you contact someone on Flickr who has posted pictures. If you like someone's picture, and want to talk to them about it, is there a way you can contact them? I thought about posting a comment under their picture to see if they would reply to me, but I don't know if that will work? Does someone know how to do what I'm asking, thanks :]

We don't act as matchmakers, so contact the photographer yourself. Only members of Flickr can send messages to one another, so if you haven't created an account, that's your first step.

As a member of Flickr, you can move your mouse over someone's buddy icon and click the little arrow to open the "person menu." Then select "Send FlickrMail" and compose your message. When you contact a photographer, it's best to include as much info as possible about the photo, yourself, and how you want to use the photo.

click on the users profile link and click on 'send flickr mail'

when click on some image and check tat , there is a message on the right hand side of tat saying somthing like

2)in the top navigation you will find PROFILE link click that
3) you can add the person as contact by clicking 'Add as contact'
4) SEND FLICKR Mail......... use that to send mail

Leaving a comment would be the first step. Don't come on too strong, or you might sound creepy.

Wouldn't it be OK to just compliment them, and leave it at that?
