I like it because it allows me a way to post a batch of photos like from a trip or family event. I only need to send the link to that site (Each album you create as a separate URL) and everyone I mail that to can go see the photos, make comments, and even order their own reprints.

Saves from having send then as individual attachments.

It also provides a secondary off site to store my photos just in case the HD dies.

The "Free" service is limited to how many photos you can download each month and the total you can store at one time. But for a small annual fee you get unlimited use.
