How do you make friends on Facebook?

I know facebook is meant for actual friends who know each other, but strangers request and become friends on it.. I wanted to request a couple of strangers who seem nice and are friends of friends...but what do I say to them in the requesting message..and then what kind of comments do i leave after.I'm no good at making friends in real ife, so this is my chance really. Thank you for your help.

You can just add them and send a message saying something like "Hi, we haven't met but you seem like a cool person" or something like that. I've done it and it's totally fine.

If they're a friend of a friend, that's even better. You can just say "Hi I saw your friends with my friend _______, just wanted to say hey"

As long as you're not totally creepy about it, it'll be fine. Don't be shy!

Before you have any other friends besides the ones you either grew up with or come to know from jobs and college, find out more about other people on Faceboob before inviting them as your friends, but just be care ful, there are dudes that are lunatics out there...
