When I go to college, what should I get: FaceBook or MySpace?

Hey. I am not much of a computer wizard, but I thought that I may get into one of these personalized online websites where I can email, have my own music/music videos on my page, and cool links to entertain myself. What should I get: MySpace or FaceBook? Please give me details and reasons as to why I should get one over the other. If there are any crucial details that could help me out, please feel free to tell me. Just to tell you a little bit about myself that I want to add in my webpage: I am a huge Lost fan. I like YouTube Lost videos and I want to put them on my webpage. I like email, and I want to upload pictures of my vacations onto my website. I like to be organized. That is about it. Any other features that are cool and you want to tell me about, please do. Thanks and I greatly appreciate your help.

I would get Facebook because you can add your college network on Facebook. This allows you to view others who go to your school. Plus it adds a privacy element because only people in your network can view your profile (unless you choose to make it private to only friends).

Facebook allows you to send messages, and you can post your favorite websites on your profile. Facebook also has an application that allow you to put music videos on your page. There are sections where you'll be able to add all of your interests, and Facebook lets you create photo albums for your pictures.

Myspace has most of these features, too, but Facebook is a lot more organized.

you should get both... facebook has a lot of fun applications and you can add your school network... on myspace, you can personalize you layout with fun backgrounds and you can add music from virtually every singer...

i prefer myspace though since facebook has all these junk invitation things all the time.

facebook is geared for college life, thats where it orginated, myspace is that good of an social information sharing website
