What does a "poke" mean to you?

if ur giving one or recieving one from a friend, guy friend, someone u don't know more another person, what does it MEAN??

means nothing. Me and a few friends have random poke wars and "super poke" application wars. Yeah we get bored often. A poke on facebook is like a sort of "hey i'm here" notification. To me it means nothing.
