Dell computer....cd drive stuck in? |
When I push the button for the cd drive to open it makes sounds like its going to. Then doesn't. How do I get this stupid thing open? Pulling out on it doesn't help NEXT PROBLEM! Sounds like it could be the drive going bad. Spank it. there should be a very small hole on the cd rom drive, you need something small enough to put in the hole and pop the drive out. If you look next to the button there will be a little hole on the drive looking from the side on the outside. Put a bent paperclip in there and it will open. Straightened paperclip into the little hole near the button should do it. I guess you could try to restart your computer. Maybe it froze. Sounds like it is acting up. If I have this problem I will restart it. Then try the disk again and see if it will work. |
