Why won't this icon delete?

I saved a photoshop document to my desktop but when I try to delete it it says it's open in another program. I shut all my programs down and it still says the same thing. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Programs like Photoshop stay running in the Process Tree even after you exit the proram. iTunes does this too. You can press Ctrl+Alt+Delete and select Processes. Find the process for Adobe Photoshop and close it out. It may give some warning about it needing to stay open, but as long as you are not using it still it's safe to close. *Note: that is not true for all items, many things listed in the process tree are needed for windows to run, only close things for specific programs you are not using*

If this does not work, shut down and restart the computer. This will clear Adob Photoshop from the process tree and will allow you to delte the file.

may be you try to delete it in windows explorer,
and you view it by using film strip mode or thumbnail mode..

try to change the view into list or detail mode.. then you can delete it safely..
