Same specs but different price. Performance?

When I try building a Dell on their online website, I found that building an Inspiron 530, an XPS 210, and an XPS 420 with roughly the same specs does not end up with the same price.

The Inspiron 530 came at $979, XPS 420 at $1,129, anad XPS 210 at $1,179. This was surprising since the XPS 420 had a Radeon, and the XPS 210 just had some crappy Media Accelerator.

So my question is: Why are the prices so different? Is it because the parts inside the XPS perform faster than the Inspiron, or is there some other reason?

NOTE: Never mind, the XPS 420 was cheaper because it didn't include a monitor. However, the question still applies.

The XPS 420 is now $1,319

When I go to Dells site i see both the 210 and 420 starting at 999 except the 210 has a monitor. The 210 has a 2.13 Core 2 Duo and 2GBs of ram as stock while the 420 has a 2.4 quad and 3GBs of ram. Main thing thou, is that the 210 is a slim-line meaning its only going to take a low-profile video card when it comes time to put a video card in. They don't make the big cards in low-profile. You can see that the $1999 420 has an 8800GT while the baddest card they offer with the 210 is the ATI 2400 which is offered in low-profile configurations.. If you want a Dell then the only one I would suggest out of those 3 choices would be the 420.
