Do I need both a cable modem and a wireless router? |
I apologize in advance for my ignorance on this subject. Would I be able to use just a wireless router to connect to the internet, or do I also need a cable modem? I'm setting up the internet for an apartment I'm moving into, and I have the option of renting a cable modem. I already own a wireless router, so I want to make sure I also need the cable modem. I'm almost positive that I do need the cable modem, but I just wanted to be sure first. Yes you will need a modem.
