Also I can't able to rectify this problem. How can i make the folder accessable by other users? If this is windows XP. Double click "my computer". Click on tools/folder options. Click on the view tab, then scroll down to bottom, uncheck simple file sharing. Go to your share folder, right click on the share folder and choose sharing and security. Click the permissions button, choose the everyone group (not really recommended, you will have to alter this later and create users who should be able to connect (assuming you don't have Active Directory running) and click the read and write access. Next click over to the security tab and click add. Add the everyone group and click on everything but full access. (again not recommended for security purposes). Check whether your system IP address is registered on the server and it is not expired. U can try the following ways. |
