How to connect an oracle database to a client without installing the oracle database in the client computer? |
example: a system on e-learning is developed with the use of Oracle as its database.. The concept is that, it will be connected through LAN..thus a client and a server is needed..how will we be able to do that without installing the Oracle application in each client computers? If the system is being written in Dot NET (using Visual Studio) or Java (using Eclipse) there should already be a library of "connection" types that support Oracle directly without requiring additional drivers. hii, thats purely how you design....May be you can try using Thin clients ...see if that helps ... |
