What is a nice desktop computer for $350?

I only need the tower and nothing more. I would like for it to have a nice proccesor and 1gb of ram.

I think you will find it quite hard to find a decent computer for that price.

$350 will be the dead basic, CDROM only (No DVD) small hard drive and incredibly slow !!

Save a bit more and get something that you are happy with.

Dell has one for 349 but you say nice. It has the traditionally slow Celuron processor and probably teases you with a short preview of some programs like M/S Word and a picture program. You might bargain w/ Dell for a non Intel processor to stay in budget. With Dell you'll get call all day for extended warranties, accessories and for two for one coupons on Chicken Curry.
Microcenter.com has one but it is the Acer, which has had bad reviews.
Fry's.com has a Gateway in your range w/ a free printer...There is shipping and if applicable tax. Customer Svc at Fry's is only second worst to a bad area DMV.
