My motherboard has 2 open slots but I can't tell if they're ddr or ddr2?

My stock ram is ddr. I'm taking it not to install the ddr2.

Or you can use CPU-Z, a small no install tool for identifying your CPU clockspeed and RAM, and it's free.

Ht2脴

usually, motherboards do not have DDR AND DDR2 slots. If it originally had DDR, then they're most likely DDR

would help to know what board you have ... but if you know your current Ram is DDR then it's a safe bet that it's not going to accept DDR2

the ddr2 ram has the hole almost in the middle(center),,,,,,ddr1 is nearest to one part , not in the middle..so see the jut and specify which situation u have
