Is netgear a good router? |
i have netgear router WGR614 v6. When i surf the net for quite sometime, it suddenly lose connection. I duno why? Sounds like an overheating problem. Make sure it has free airflow on all 6 sides and that it's not near anything that produces heat - not even the modem. no problem with mine. I have a net gear that does that also, my 2wire one does not have the problem and has a longer range yes, netgear is a good brand and it's not necessarily generic. but you may be disconnecting because you're far away from your router or you may have a bad internet adapter or someone is using your phone line which may disconnect your internet I had one that did same thing until one day it stopped working totally. |
